Sanandaj; Arrest of Jamal Asadi by Security Forces

Jamal Asadi, an environmental and labor activist from Sanandaj, was arrested by security forces.

According to Kolbarnews, on the morning of Tuesday, February 10, 2026, Intelligence Department agents in Sanandaj raided the private residence of Jamal Asadi, a member of the “Chel-Chameh” mountaineering group, arrested him, and transferred him to an unknown location.

According to this report, the arrest of this citizen was carried out without presenting a judicial warrant.

Jamal Asadi had previously been summoned and arrested multiple times by security institutions.
