Bukan; Amir Yousofi Released on Bail After 21 Days in Detention

Amir Yousofi, a resident of Salamat village in Bukan County, was temporarily released after 21 days in security detention upon posting a substantial bail bond.

According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, Amir Yousofi, a resident of Salamat village in Bukan County, was released after three weeks in detention upon posting bail set at 3.5 billion tomans.

According to obtained information, this citizen, who is married and the father of two children, was arrested by security forces in Bukan on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. After spending one day in the detention facility of the county, he was transferred to a security detention center in Urmia.

According to received reports, on Monday, June 1, 2026, Amir Yousofi was transferred from the Urmia security detention center back to Bukan. One day later, he was temporarily released from detention upon posting bail.
