Islamabad-e Gharb; Arbitrary Arrest of Two Citizens

Kamiyar Rashidi and Meysam Chabok, two citizens from Islamabad-e Gharb in Kermanshah Province, were arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to Kolbarnews, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, Kamiyar Rashidi and Meysam Chabok, two citizens from Islamabad-e Gharb, were arrested without the presentation of a judicial warrant and through direct action by security forces. This arrest took place while authorities have so far provided no explanation regarding the reasons for it.

Since the arrest of these two citizens, no information has been available about their legal status, place of detention, or their conditions, and they have not been allowed contact with their families.

The lack of information about the fate of Kamiyar Rashidi and Meysam Chabok has caused concern among their families, and efforts to obtain information about their situation have so far been unsuccessful.
