Tehran; 14-year-old Kurdish Teenager Arian Ghasemizadeh Killed by Live Gunfire

Arian Ghasemizadeh, a 14-year-old Kurdish teenager from Kangavar in Kermanshah Province, is among those killed during public protests in Islamshahr, Tehran, after being shot directly with live ammunition.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, January 9, 2026, Arian Ghasemizadeh, originally from Kangavar and residing in Tehran, was shot by Islamic Republic security forces during nationwide protests in Islamshahr.
A live bullet struck him in the back. He was critically wounded and transferred to a hospital but died several hours later due to the severity of his injuries.

Arian Ghasemizadeh’s body was buried on Sunday, January 11, 2026, under strict security measures at Behesht-e Fatemiyeh cemetery in Salehiyeh.

According to received information, Arian was active in wrestling and gymnastics and had recently completed professional training in hairstyling.
