Zahra Eidinejad, a 28-year-old Kurdish young woman from the city of Quchan, is identified as another victim of the nationwide protests who lost her life during the suppression of protesters in the city of Mashhad.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Zahra Eidinejad was targeted in “Park” Square in Mashhad by direct fire of live ammunition by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic, was shot in the throat, and lost her life due to the severity of her injuries.
Based on received information, the body of this victim was delivered to her family on Monday, January 12, 2026, and was then buried in the cemetery of her birthplace, the city of Quchan.
Zahra Eidinejad held a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and worked as a dental technician. She had married approximately two years ago.
Reports indicate that during the process of delivering the bodies of victims of the nationwide protests, security institutions, through pressure, threats, and restrictions, have attempted to prevent the free flow of information and the holding of public ceremonies.
