Khaled Kouseh, a young Baloch Sukhtbar from Dashtiari County, lost his life following a road accident on a route leading to the Rimdan border.

According to Kolbarnews, citing sources from Baluchistan, on Sunday, June 7, 2026, Khaled Kouseh, a 27-year-old son of Kia, married and a resident of the village of Kaksouch in the Bahukalat district of Dashtiari County, was killed in a traffic accident on the road connecting to the Rimdan border region.
According to received information, the accident occurred on one of the routes leading to the Rimdan border in Dashtiari County, and the young Sukhtbar lost his life as a result of the severity of his injuries.
Baloch Sukhtbar turn to this dangerous occupation in order to provide for their families and cover living expenses, while constantly facing risks such as road accidents, high-speed pursuits, vehicle fires, and shootings by military forces. Every year, dozens of them are killed or injured under these conditions.
Sukhtbari is considered one of the unconventional and dangerous jobs that many Baloch people in Balochistan have been forced to turn to due to the lack of suitable and stable employment. Accidents, vehicle overturns, and direct gunfire from military and security forces are among the dangers that threaten the lives of these Sukhtbars.According to the 2025 annual report of the Baluchistan Human Rights Documentation Network, at least 262 Sukhtbars were killed or injured. Of these, 173 Sukhtbars lost their lives due to gunfire by military forces, road accidents during pursuits by security forces, or explosions caused by mines planted by the IRGC, while 89 others were injured. Four child Sukhtbars were among those killed.
