Kajal Rahmani and Danial Rahmani, two citizens from Kamiyaran, were arrested following raids by security forces on their homes and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to Kolbarnews, on the morning of Saturday, June 6, 2026, Kajal Rahmani and Danial Rahmani, a sister and brother from Kamiyaran, were arrested by security forces without the presentation of any judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location.
According to received information, security forces simultaneously raided the homes of the two citizens in the city of Kamiyaran and arrested them after breaking down the doors of their residences. No information has yet been released regarding the reasons for their arrest, their place of detention, or the condition of these two Kurdish citizens.
Kajal Rahmani, who had previously worked as a nurse at Sina Hospital in Kamiyaran, had been repeatedly summoned and interrogated by security institutions in Kamiyaran and Sanandaj over recent years. In the autumn of 2019, she was also dismissed from her workplace following security-related pressure.
Danial Rahmani, a computer engineering student at the Islamic Azad University of Sanandaj, had likewise been repeatedly summoned and interrogated by security forces in recent years.
At the time of publication, the family’s efforts to obtain information regarding the condition of the two citizens had yielded no results, and the responsible authorities had provided no explanation on the matter.
