Bukan; Continued Detention and Uncertainty of a Citizen After Five Months of Imprisonment

Rasul Yadyar, a citizen from Bukan, remains held in a state of uncertainty in the central prison of this city after five months since his arrest, and reports indicate the continuation of security pressures and prevention of his temporary release.

According to Kolbarnews, despite the passage of five months since the arrest of Rasul Yadyar and the failure to prove any charges against him, the Intelligence Office of Bukan and Ali Zahedi, the prosecutor of this city, through opposition and obstruction have prevented the acceptance of bail and the temporary release of this citizen. He is currently imprisoned in the central prison of Bukan.

Based on this report, Rasul Yadyar was subjected to severe physical torture during interrogations in the detention center of the Intelligence Office of Bukan; in a way that several of his teeth were broken and he suffered serious injuries to his nose, jaw, and hand. Despite the deterioration of his physical condition, he was transferred to the infirmary only for a short period and was returned to the detention center again before the completion of the treatment process.

It has also been reported that Rasul Yadyar’s personal vehicle, which had been confiscated in the compound of the Intelligence Office, was damaged and destroyed during the attacks by Israeli army fighter jets on the building and compound of the Intelligence Office of Bukan, but the responsible institutions have so far refused to pay any compensation.

Rasul Yadyar, married and originally from the village of “Gok Tapeh” and a resident of the village of “Nachit” in the district of Bukan, was arrested by security forces on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, and has remained in detention ever since.
