Ilam and Sarableh; Arrest of Three Citizens and Continued Lack of Information About Their Fate

Amirhossein Ta’mirkari, Mohammad-Hossein Moradi, and Abolfazl Pourrezaei, three citizens from Ilam and Sarableh, have been arrested in recent days by security forces without judicial warrants, transferred to unknown locations, and no information is available about their condition or fate.

According to Kolbarnews, on Saturday, January 3, 2026, Mohammad‑Hossein Moradi, a 40-year-old resident of Asemanabad near Sarableh, was arrested by security forces.

On Sunday, January 4, 2026, Abolfazl Pourrezaei, an 18-year-old from Ilam, and on Monday, January 5, 2026, Amirhossein Ta’mirkari, a 24-year-old also from Ilam, were likewise arrested without the presentation of any judicial warrant and transferred to undisclosed locations.

As of the time of publication of this report, security and judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic have provided no explanation regarding the reasons for the arrests, the charges, the places of detention, or the condition of these three citizens. Efforts by their families and relatives to obtain information have so far been unsuccessful.
