Bukan: Two Citizens Sentenced to Prison

Sadegh Zand and Mohammad Soleimani, two citizens from Bukan, have each been sentenced to three months and one day of discretionary imprisonment.

According to Kolbarnews, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, the Branch 101 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court in Miandoab, presided over by Judge Valaei, sentenced Sadegh Zand (34 years old) and Mohammad Soleimani (30 years old) to three months and one day in prison on charges of “propaganda against the regime.”

Both men had previously been arrested by security forces and, after one month of detention, were temporarily released on bail of 800 million tomans each pending the outcome of their trials.
