Sixteen days after the arrest of Pejman Hajizadeh, a citizen from Bukan, there is still no clear information regarding his condition, place of detention, or fate.
According to Kolbarnews, on May 12, 2026, security forces raided the family home of Pejman Hajizadeh without presenting a judicial warrant and arrested him. He is originally from the village of “Gavmish Goli” in Miandoab County and currently resides in Bukan.
According to the report, following his arrest, Pejman Hajizadeh was transferred to a security detention center in Urmia for interrogation.
Based on received information, this citizen has so far had only one brief telephone call with his family and, throughout his detention, has been deprived of access to a lawyer and in-person visits with family members.
At the time of publishing this report, no information has been released regarding the reasons for his arrest, the status of his case, or any possible charges against this Kurdish citizen. The responsible authorities have also provided no explanation in this regard.
