Salaheddin Dastan, a stonemason from Bukan, lost his life after falling from scaffolding due to unsafe working conditions.
According to Kolbarnews, on Sunday, 30 November 2025, a construction worker died while on the job after falling from scaffolding as a result of inadequate workplace safety measures.
The worker has been identified as Salaheddin Dastan, a stonemason and building façade and tile specialist from Bukan.
Salaheddin Dastan was married and the father of three children.
It is worth noting that in 2024, at least 2,042 workers lost their lives in workplace accidents, and at least 16,113 workers were injured due to unsafe working conditions.
