Kermanshah; Death of Milad Mohebi, a 30-year-old Citizen, as a Result of Gunfire by Government Forces

Milad Mohebi, a 30-year-old citizen from the Shahyad neighborhood of Kermanshah, is another of those killed in the nationwide protests in this city who lost his life after being wounded by live gunfire.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, January 9, 2026, Milad Mohebi died at Taleghani Hospital in Kermanshah due to the severity of injuries caused by direct gunfire from government forces.
One day earlier, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, he had been shot and seriously injured during nationwide protests in the Nobahar neighborhood of Kermanshah.

Based on the recurring pattern in the conduct of security institutions toward those killed in protests, families face a securitized environment, pressure, and restrictions on informing the public and holding mourning ceremonies, and efforts are made to conceal details regarding the manner of the victims’ deaths.
