According to Kolbarnews, on Saturday, 29 November 2025, Asmar Hamidi, an artist and cultural activist from Maneh-Samalqan in North Khorasan Province, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
Based on this report, security agents raided her home without presenting a judicial warrant and carried out her arrest.

Asmar Hamidi is one of the young Kurdish music artists in Khorasan and is also known as an active woman in the cultural sphere.
She had previously been summoned by security agencies due to her civic activities, participation in cultural programs, and expression of critical views.
