Tehran; Death of Saeed Kahrari by Live Gunfire During Nationwide Protests

Saeed Kahrari, a Kurdish citizen from Kermanshah, has been identified as another victim of the nationwide protests on Frida.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, January 9, 2026, Saeed Kahrari lost his life during nationwide protests in Tehran after being directly shot with live ammunition by suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic.

After his body was transferred to Kermanshah, he was buried at Bagh-e Ferdows Cemetery in the city.

Saeed Kahrari was a welding worker in Tehran and was known as a married man and the father of a family.

In similar cases, security institutions have pressured the families of protest victims, imposing restrictions and threats during the process of handing over bodies and holding burial ceremonies.
