Kermanshah; Death of Mohsen Rezaei Following Direct Gunfire by Suppressive Forces

Mohsen Rezaei, a young citizen from Kermanshah, is another of those killed in the popular protests in this city who lost his life during street repression.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, January 9, 2026, Mohsen Rezaei was targeted by direct gunfire from suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic during nationwide protests in the Maskan neighborhood of the city of Kermanshah and was killed.

According to common practices of security institutions, the families of those killed in protests face pressure, threats, and restrictions on public information and on holding mourning ceremonies, and efforts are made to keep details regarding the manner of the victims’ deaths hidden from the public.
