More than four months after the arrest of Aso Keykhosravi, a 17-year-old teenager from Javanroud, there is still no information available regarding his place of detention, physical condition, or judicial case, and the security and judicial institutions continue to refuse to provide clear answers to his family.

According to Kolbarnews, Aso Keykhosravi was arrested during the protests on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026, by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
Despite the passage of months since his arrest, no official information has been released regarding the charges against him, the institution responsible for his detention, or the legal process concerning the case of this teenager.
The continuous efforts of Aso Keykhosravi’s family to obtain information about the fate of their child have so far remained unsuccessful, while the responsible institutions have refused to respond in this regard. At the same time, the deprivation of this teenager from the right to access a lawyer, make phone calls, and meet with his family has increased concerns regarding his physical and psychological condition.
The arrest and prolonged detention of individuals, especially children and teenagers, without access to basic legal rights, including the right to legal counsel and communication with family, constitute a clear violation of the principles of fair trial and the international obligations of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding children’s rights.
