Nine days after the arrest of “Esti Mohammadi,” a citizen from Bukan, there is still no information available regarding her place of detention or condition, and this 67-year-old woman remains deprived of the right to contact her family, receive visits, and access a lawyer.

According to Kolbarnews, on the afternoon of Monday, May 11, 2026, security forces of the Intelligence Office of Bukan raided the family home of “Esti Mohammadi,” daughter of Haji Ghafoor and resident of the “Mirabad” area of Bukan, and arrested her without presenting any judicial warrant before transferring her to an undisclosed location. Simultaneously with this action, security forces also confiscated the mobile phones and laptop computers of family members without legal authorization.
Esti Mohammadi is the mother of two political activists living outside Iran and, according to received information, due to her physical condition and advanced age, she requires continuous medication. However, since the time of her arrest, she has been deprived of access to her medications, a matter that has increased the concerns of her family and relatives regarding her health condition.
At the time of compiling this report, the security and judicial institutions have provided no explanation regarding the reasons for the arrest, her place of detention, or the possible charges against this citizen. Furthermore, the continuous efforts of her family to obtain information about her condition have remained unanswered, and her family continues to live under conditions of complete concern and uncertainty.
