Fourteen days after the arrest of Shahram Amini, a citizen from Marivan, there is still no information available regarding his fate, place of detention, or health condition, and he remains deprived of the right to access a lawyer, make phone calls, and meet with his family.

According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, 52-year-old Shahram Amini was arrested by forces of the Intelligence Office while returning from the Kurdistan Region and at the Bashmaq border crossing, before being transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to received information, the arrest of this citizen took place after his family trip to the city of Sulaymaniyah in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
He had traveled together with members of his family to Sulaymaniyah for five days to visit their son, “Milad Amini.” Milad Amini had been forced to leave Marivan and flee Iran during the revolutionary “Jina” movement due to political activities and pressure from security institutions.
Despite repeated visits and continuous follow-up efforts by Shahram Amini’s family, the security and judicial institutions have so far refused to provide any explanation regarding his place of detention, health condition, or the charges brought against him.
