Sanandaj; Death of Mohammad Sohrabzadeh by Direct Fire from Military Forces

Mohammad Sohrabzadeh, a citizen from the village of Kamiz, a district of Sanandaj, lost his life due to direct gunfire from military forces.

According to Kolbarnews, this incident occurred on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Based on this report, Mohammad Sohrabzadeh was traveling from the village of “Qalyan” toward Sanandaj with his parents in a private car when, without receiving any prior warning, he was targeted by gunfire from plainclothes armed forces.

As a result of the shooting, he was severely injured after being struck by two bullets and, due to the severity of his injuries, died before being transferred to medical centers.

The body of this citizen was buried on Monday, March 30, 2026, under heavy security measures in his hometown.

It should be noted that he is the second Kurdish citizen to be killed by direct gunfire from government forces following the recent escalation of conflict between Iran, the United States, and Israel.
