Adel Yousefinejad and Ako Yousefinejad, two citizens from Sanandaj, were summoned and interrogated by the Intelligence Department of this city.
According to Kolbarnews, on Monday, December 22, 2025, Adel Yousefinejad and Ako Yousefinejad, the father and brother of Chiako Yousefinejad, an environmental activist who lost his life during the Abidar Mountain fire in Sanandaj, were summoned to the Sanandaj Intelligence Department and interrogated without any clear explanation from security institutions. These two citizens were released after about one hour of interrogation.
The summoning of these individuals has been attributed to their participation in environmental and civil activities and events.
In August of the current year, during a large-scale fire on Abidar Mountain in Sanandaj, three environmental activists named Hamid Moradi, Khabat Amini, and Chiako Yousefinejad lost their lives while trying to contain the fire.
