Marivan; Elham Naderi-Monfared Sentenced to 2 Years in Prison

Elham Naderi-Monfared, a 32-year-old resident of Nowdeshah and currently living in Marivan, has been sentenced by the Iranian judiciary to two years in prison.

According to Kolbarnews, she was convicted on charges of “propaganda activities against the Islamic Republic of Iran and in favor of Israel.”
Under the court’s ruling, 21 and a half months of the sentence have been suspended, while the remaining portion must be served.

Elham Naderi-Monfared was previously arrested for posting an Instagram story related to the Iran-Israel conflict and was released on bail pending trial.
