Marivan; Death of Four Members of a Family Including a Pregnant Woman and a Four-year-old Child in an Airstrike

Following airstrikes on a military center in Marivan, four members of one family, including a pregnant woman and a four-year-old child, lost their lives.

According to Kolbarnews, on Monday, March 2, 2026, during attacks by Israeli and American fighter jets on an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps building in the city of Marivan, Mitra Jalilavi, a 30-year-old pregnant woman from Ahvaz, along with her husband Farzad Bazargan, 34 years old and from the village of “Dari” in Marivan County, and their four-year-old child Karen Bazargan, were killed.
According to obtained information, the family lived in a residential house located next to the IRGC barracks in Marivan, and following the strike and the intensity of the explosion at this military center, their home was severely damaged and the three family members died inside their house.

An informed source stated that Mitra Jalilavi was in the ninth month of her pregnancy and had been planning to go to a hospital in the city of Sanandaj to give birth.

Images and videos published from the scene also show that the intensity of the explosion and destruction caused by the attack, in addition to damaging this military center, caused extensive damage to nearby residential homes, and electricity in parts of the city of Marivan was also cut off following the attack.
