Mameh Alizadeh, a citizen from Mahabad, has been arrested by forces of the Intelligence Department and transferred to one of the security detention centers.
According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, forces of the Intelligence Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran raided this citizen’s workplace in the city of Mahabad and arrested him without presenting a judicial warrant.
Based on obtained information, security agents, after arresting this 20-year-old citizen who was working in a fruit shop, also went to his family home and, while searching it, extensively inspected and damaged household items.
Reports also indicate that after his arrest, Mameh Alizadeh was transferred to the Intelligence Department detention center in Urmia for interrogation.
As of the time of publishing this news, no information is available about the reasons for the arrest, possible charges, or the health condition of this citizen, and his family’s follow-ups have so far not yielded any results.
