Dehloran: Arbitrary Arrest of Five Nurses and Medical Staff by Security Forces on Charges of “Treating the Wounded”

Ehsan Ahmadi, Hossein Karami, Mohammad Moradi, Ahmad Khosravi, and Ahmad Zeini, five nurses and medical staff from Dehloran in Ilam Province were arrested by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and transferred to unknown locations.

According to Kolbarnews, as part of the continuing wave of arbitrary arrests aimed at imposing a climate of repression and securitization following the popular protests that began in January 2026, Ehsan Ahmadi, Hossein Karami, Mohammad Moradi, Ahmad Khosravi, and Ahmad Zeini were arrested during violent raids on their homes by security forces on the charge of “treating the wounded” and were taken to undisclosed locations.

Reports indicate that all five are staff members of Dehloran Hospital. At midnight on January 8, 2026, they were violently arrested during raids on their homes, without any judicial warrants.
During follow-up inquiries by their families, they were told that the detainees would be transferred to prison the following morning.

However, as of the time of this report, no information is available about the whereabouts or fate of Ehsan Ahmadi, Hossein Karami, Mohammad Moradi, Ahmad Khosravi, and Ahmad Zeini. The families’ efforts to obtain information have so far been unsuccessful, and they have had no contact with their detained relatives.
