During nationwide protests in Tehran, a young Kurdish citizen lost his life due to direct gunfire from military forces. Seyed Milad Hosseini, 22 years old and from Dalahu County, was shot and killed in Phase 1 of Andisheh City.

According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026, Seyed Milad Hosseini, a 22-year-old citizen from the village of Zardeh, a district of Dalahu County in Kermanshah Province, was killed by direct fire from government forces during nationwide protests in Phase 1 of Andisheh City in Tehran.
Seyed Milad Hosseini was a follower of the Yarsan faith. After obtaining his high school diploma, he completed specialized training in argon welding and drilling equipment and worked in this field.
The body of this citizen was buried in the village of Deh Jami Beyunij, a district of Dalahu County.
Reports indicate that security forces, during the process of handing over the bodies of those killed to their families, imposed security pressures and extensive restrictions, attempting to prevent public funeral ceremonies and creating a heavy atmosphere of threat and control over the families.
