Afshin Najm, a resident of Saqqez, was arrested by Intelligence Department forces and transferred to an unknown location.
According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, 25 March 2026, Intelligence forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran raided the home of Afshin Najm in the city of Saqqez and arrested him.
According to received information, the arrest was carried out on the charge of “possession and use of Starlink satellite internet equipment.” Security forces also searched the house and confiscated a number of his personal belongings.
At the time of this report, no information is available regarding his place of detention, health condition, or the details of his situation, and his family’s attempts to obtain information from security institutions have so far been unsuccessful.
