Qazvin; Death of a Young Man From Kermanshah During Nationwide Protests

Rasoul Badparan, a young Kurdish man from Kermanshah and a resident of Alvand city in Qazvin Province, is another of those killed in the nationwide protests who was shot dead in the side by direct live gunfire from suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Rasoul Badparan was targeted by direct gunfire from government forces during the suppression of nationwide protests and was severely wounded immediately after being hit by a bullet. He was the father of a young daughter, and doctors’ efforts to save his life at the hospital were unsuccessful, and this young man lost his life.

An informed source, while confirming this news, stated that the body of Rasoul Badparan was buried on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Behesht-e Fatemieh Cemetery in the city of Alvand, after being handed over to his family.

Rasoul Badparan was one of hundreds of victims of the widespread popular protests in recent days, during which security forces suppressed protesters using firearms and a number of citizens lost their lives.
