Majid Rashidi, a 51-year-old resident of Kermanshah, is another victim of the popular protests in the Maskan neighborhood of this city who lost his life during the crackdown on protesters after being directly shot with live ammunition by government forces.

According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Friday, January 10, 2026, Majid Rashidi was directly targeted by live gunfire from suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic in the Maskan neighborhood of Kermanshah and was killed.
His body was buried on Sunday, January 12, 2026, in Bagh-e Ferdows Cemetery in Kermanshah.
Majid Rashidi, son of Mohammad, was the father of a 27-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old son.
The handover of the bodies of those killed in the protests in Kermanshah has generally been conditional on families paying sums ranging from 700 million to one billion tomans, and in many cases families have been forced to sign written pledges. At the same time, security agencies have directly supervised burial processes and pressured families to refrain from sharing details or allowing large public participation in funeral ceremonies. These measures have forced families in many cases to choose alternative locations or surrounding villages to bury their loved ones.
