Farhad Cheraghi-Zadeh, a 45-year-old resident of Kermanshah, is another victim of the nationwide protests in Kermanshah who lost his life during the crackdown on protesters after being directly shot four times with live ammunition to the abdomen by government forces.

According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Thursday, January 9, 2026, Farhad Cheraghi-Zadeh was directly targeted by four live bullets fired by suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic on Tagh-e Bostan Boulevard in Kermanshah and died immediately.
His body was handed over to his family only after they were forced to sign a written pledge and pay 800 million tomans.
His family is currently under heavy surveillance by security agencies.
Farhad Cheraghi-Zadeh was buried on Sunday, January 11, 2026, in Bagh-e Ferdows Cemetery in Kermanshah.
Farhad Cheraghi-Zadeh was married and the father of a 14-year-old son. Those close to him say he had always emphasized that he would “continue the path of freedom.”
