Two citizens from Piranshahr, Mehialdin Marouf-Nia (Qallash) and Behnam Marouf-Nia (Qallash), who are father and son, were temporarily released from detention after a period of arrest upon posting heavy bail.
According to Kolbarnews on Monday, April 27, 2026, Mehialdin Marouf-Nia and Behnam Marouf-Nia were each released from detention after posting bail of two billion tomans.
These two citizens had previously been arrested in mid-April of the current year, without the presentation of a judicial warrant, following a raid by security forces on their residence, and were transferred to an unknown location.
Based on the information received, this father and son were deprived of access to a lawyer as well as visits with their family members during the period of their detention.
