Amirmehdi Moradi, a 15-year-old teenager, a student, and a member of the Kurdish Lak, is the identity of another person killed in the nationwide protests in Islamshahr.
According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, January 9, 2026, Amirmehdi Moradi lost his life during nationwide protests in the Ghaemieh neighborhood of Islamshahr after being directly shot with live ammunition by suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic, with the bullet striking his spinal cord.
According to received information, the shooting was carried out deliberately, and this teenager was severely injured at the scene.
The body of this 15-year-old student was handed over to the family after three days of being held, only after the payment of cash and the obtaining of a forced written commitment from the family.
The burial ceremony of Amirmehdi Moradi was held under a heavy security atmosphere and severe restrictions at the Imamzadeh Ebrahim Dehshad cemetery in Baghestan, Shahriar. This teenager was the only son of the family and had one sister.
Amirmehdi Moradi is identified as being from the Kurdish Lak community and affiliated with the “Eitivand” clan.
