Sixteen days after the arrest of Hemen Hosseini, a citizen from Saqqez and a former political prisoner, there is still no precise information available about his condition, place of detention, or fate.
According to Kolbarnews on Tuesday, April 14, 2025, Hemen Hosseini, a civil activist from Saqqez, was arrested after being summoned to the Intelligence Department of this city and was transferred to an unknown location without any explanation.
According to this report, the continuous follow-ups by the family of this citizen to obtain information about his legal status, possible charges, and place of detention have so far been unsuccessful, and security institutions have refrained from providing any clear response in this regard.
Hemen Hosseini had previously also been arrested several times by security institutions due to his activities and was last arrested in January 2026 and released after a short period, but now, shortly after his release, he has once again been arrested.
Over the past years, this citizen had also faced judicial rulings at least twice and had been sentenced to imprisonment, and after serving his sentences, he had been released from Saqqez Central Prison.
