Tehran; Continued Detention and Lack of Information on the Fate of a Citizen After Four Months

Four months after the arrest of Mojtaba Hajian, a 21-year-old citizen from Abdanan and resident of Tehran, there is still no information available regarding his place of detention, condition, or fate, and this citizen remains in detention under unclear circumstances and without access to basic rights.

According to Kolbarnews, more than four months after the arrest of Mojtaba Hajian, this Kurdish youth continues to be held in an undisclosed location in a state of uncertainty.
Efforts by his family and relatives to obtain information about his condition and whereabouts have so far remained unsuccessful.

An informed source stated that Mojtaba Hajian, a 21-year-old from the city of Abdanan in Ilam Province and resident of Tehran, was arrested on January 26, 2026, by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to this source, since the time of his arrest Mojtaba Hajian has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer, in-person visits, and contact with his family, and no official information has been provided regarding the status of his case, his place of detention, or any possible charges against him.

The continued detention of this citizen has now entered its fourth month while the responsible authorities have still provided no explanation regarding the reasons for his arrest, and the family’s efforts to receive clear answers concerning his condition and fate have remained without result.
