Over the past 24 hours, four residents of Oshnavieh County Shaho Ebrahimi, Farhan Chupan, Shafi Ahmadí, and 16-year-old Seraj Elyasi have been arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and transferred to an unknown location.

According to Kolbarnews, these arrests took place on December 13 and 14, 2025, without the presentation of any judicial warrant.
As of the time of this report, no official information has been released regarding the reasons for the arrests, the charges brought against these individuals, or their place of detention, and security institutions have not responded to the families’ inquiries.
Among those arrested is Shaho Ebrahimi, a Kurdish resident of the village of Alkavi, a district of Oshnavieh. On Sunday, December 13, 2025, he was summoned under the pretext of visiting the “Agricultural Jihad” office and was subsequently arrested by security forces affiliated with the Intelligence Department and transferred to an unknown location. This arrest was also carried out without the presentation of any judicial warrant.
Shaho Ebrahimi is the brother of Shavaneh Ebrahimi, a political prisoner who, in the early morning hours of Thursday, December 4, 2025, was violently arrested without a judicial warrant after security forces raided the family home in the village of Alkavi. Eleven days after his arrest, there is still no information available regarding his fate, place of detention, or legal status.
Additionally, Siraj Elyasi, a 16-year-old teenager from the village of Hasanabad in Oshnavieh, is another detainee from this recent wave of arrests.
He was arrested by security forces in the early morning hours of Sunday, December 14, 2025, and transferred to an unknown location.
