Fouad Nikpey, one of those injured during the Jina revolutionary uprising, was violently arrested by security forces without a judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location. To date, no information is available regarding his condition or fate.
According to Kolbarnews, in the early hours of Tuesday, January 6, 2026, Fouad Nikpey was arrested in a violent manner by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location. Based on this report, security forces also insulted and mistreated members of his family during the arrest.
Previously, on the evening of November 8, 2022, Fouad Nikpey was shot by security forces during popular protests in the Sardushi neighborhood of Marivan and was wounded in the heel of his right foot by approximately 150 pellet gunshots. According to informed sources, he was born on October 13, 2008, originally from the village of Ni, near Marivan, and a resident of the city.
Efforts by Fouad Nikpey’s family and close relatives to learn about his whereabouts and condition have so far remained unsuccessful, significantly increasing concerns about the health and fate of this teenager.
As of the time of writing this report, no official information has been provided by the security or judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the reasons for his arrest, the charges against him, his place of detention, or his physical condition.
