Dariush Bidaki, an 18-year-old Kurdish Kurmanj from Bojnord, remains in an undisclosed location four days after being arrested by security forces, with no information available regarding his whereabouts or condition.

According to Kolbarnews, on Sunday, 5 July 2026, Dariush Bidaki, an 18-year-old resident of Bojnord in North Khorasan Province, was arrested after security forces raided his workplace without presenting a judicial warrant and transferred him to an undisclosed location.
According to information received, on the fourth day of his detention, individuals contacted his family and informed them that his court hearing would be held soon and that he would receive a prison sentence. These calls were made despite the fact that his family still has no information regarding his place of detention or his physical and legal condition.
At the time of publication, the security authorities have not announced the reason for Dariush Bidaki’s arrest. Since his detention, he has also been denied access to a lawyer, telephone contact, and family visits.
Threatening the families of detainees through telephone calls and subjecting them to psychological pressure is among the methods repeatedly employed by the security institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran during arbitrary arrests.
