Esra Tavousinia, a 15-year-old child from the village of Dashti Bolagh, a dependency of Songhor and Kelyai County, is among those killed during the nationwide protests in Kermanshah after succumbing to severe injuries.

According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Thursday, January 7, 2026, 15-year-old Esra Tavousinia was seriously wounded after being directly shot by forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during public protests in Kermanshah.
After enduring her injuries for more than two weeks and due to severe limitations in access to medical care, she died on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
This teenage girl was shot with pellet ammunition, sustaining injuries to her abdomen and genital area.
Due to heavy bleeding, she was forced to remain in hiding for more than two weeks and received treatment clandestinely with the help of volunteer doctors.
According to obtained information, the intense security atmosphere, arrests of protesters, and the killing of citizens inside medical centers prevented Esra Tavousinia from being transferred to a hospital and receiving formal medical services. Her family was also under security pressure and was unable to properly pursue medical treatment for their child.
