Saeed Pourhassan, a 26-year-old citizen from Islamabad-e Gharb in Kermanshah Province, has been identified as another victim of the nationwide protests.

According to Kolbarnews on Friday, January 9, 2026, Saeed Pourhassan was directly shot with live ammunition by the suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during nationwide protests on “Saadi” Street in Eslamabad-e Gharb and was killed as a result of the gunshot wound.
After being transferred to Kermanshah, the body of this citizen was buried at “Behesht Zahra Barimond” cemetery in the city.
According to obtained information, the process of handing over Saeed Pourhassan’s body to his family was accompanied by security pressure and restrictions imposed by government institutions; in such a way that his family was forced to receive their son’s body under the supervision of security forces and with a commitment not to hold a large funeral ceremony or any protest gathering, and the burial ceremony was also held in a security-controlled atmosphere.
