Twenty-one days after the arbitrary arrest of Fariborz Sadeghi, a citizen from Ilam, there is still no information available about his place of detention or his condition.
According to Kolbarnews, on Saturday, January 11, 2026, security forces, without presenting a judicial warrant and by raiding Fariborz Sadeghi’s shop, arrested him and transferred him to an unknown location. Since then, his family and relatives have had no information about the fate of this young man.
According to this report, during this period Fariborz Sadeghi has been deprived of access to a lawyer and of visits or contact with his family, and pressure from security institutions has prevented the dissemination of information about his condition.
