More than eight days after the arbitrary and violent arrest of Seyed Nima Khamoushi, a 20-year-old young man and a follower of the Yarsan faith in Kermanshah, no information is available regarding his place of detention or his condition.
According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, January 1, 2026, Seyed Nima Khamoushi, son of Boromand, was arrested by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant after publishing a post in support of the people. The arrest was carried out violently, and despite more than a week having passed, his family remains unaware of his whereabouts and fate.
According to reports, during this period he has been denied access to a lawyer and has been prevented from making any phone calls or having visits with his family.
