Following a collision between two Sukhtbari vehicles, one Baloch Sukhtbar lost his life and two others were injured.

According to Kolbarnews, on November 25, 2025, a severe collision between two Sukhtbari vehicles on the Rimdan border route in Dashtiari County resulted in the death of one Baloch Sukhtbar and injuries to two others.
The identity of the deceased Sukhtbar has been confirmed as Farzad Koohi, son of Abdoljabbar and a resident of Gerikan village in Rask County. The injured individuals have been identified as Erfan Rasoulizadeh, 19, son of Khaled, and Zahed Bahadorzehi, 20, son of Abdolsattar.
According to the report, the accident occurred while the two vehicles were traveling along the Rimdan border road toward their destination, when they collided violently. One of the passengers died instantly, and the injured were transferred to the hospital for treatment.
Sukhtbari is considered one of the unconventional and dangerous jobs that many Baloch people in Balochistan have been forced to turn to due to the lack of suitable and stable employment. Accidents, vehicle overturns, and direct gunfire from military and security forces are among the dangers that threaten the lives of these Sukhtbars. According to reports from Baloch activists, in the year 2024, at least 375 Baloch Sukhtbars have been injured or lost their lives due to shootings by military forces, traffic accidents, and vehicle fires. Of this number, 240 Sukhtbars were killed and 135 were injured, representing a 55% increase in the number of killed and injured Sukhtbars compared to the year 2023.
