Bukan; Continued Detention And Uncertainty of Four Brothers Despite the End of Their Detention Order

Rasoul Yadyar, Nasser Yadyar, Musa Yadyar, and Hamzeh Yadyar, four brothers from Bukan, remain in an uncertain situation months after their arrest, and despite the expiration of their temporary detention order, their release has been prevented.

According to Kolbarnews, although the temporary detention order for these four citizens ended on March 5, 2026, and the investigation process of their case has been completed, the prosecutor of Bukan has refused to issue their release order, and they remain in detention.

According to obtained information, Nasser Yadyar, 38, Musa Yadyar, 26, and Hamzeh Yadyar, 25, were arrested on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, in the villages of Qarmosali and Dashband, in Bukan, without a judicial warrant and with the use of violence by government forces. Earlier, Rasoul Yadyar, another member of the family, had been arrested on the evening of Tuesday, 16 December 2025, by Intelligence Department forces and transferred to a security detention center in Urmia.

Reports indicate that these four brothers, all of whom are heads of households, in addition to prolonged detention, have faced additional pressures, and their personal vehicles have been confiscated by government forces. The family’s efforts to reclaim their property and determine their status have so far been unsuccessful.

At the time of publication of this report, no official explanation has been provided regarding the reasons for the continued detention or the charges against these four Kurdish citizens.
