“Saeed Shahgoli,” a 37-year-old Kurdish citizen, is among those killed during the protests in Shahriar, Tehran, who lost his life after being struck by a live bullet in the throat.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, January 9, 2026, Saeed Shahgoli was targeted by direct gunfire from the suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic government in the “Saeedabad” area of Shahriar, and a live bullet struck his throat. After entering his jaw, it blocked his airway, and he died in the very first moments.
This shooting occurred while he was driving his personal vehicle.
Based on received information, after he was killed, the suppressive forces left his body at the scene and took his personal vehicle with them.
Saeed Shahgoli was originally from the village of “Hajiabad” in Tuyserkan, Hamadan Province, and was a resident of “Saeedabad,” Shahriar, Tehran. He worked as a fruit seller and was considered a well-known and respected member of the local community. He was married and the father of an 11-year-old son.
The body of this Kurdish citizen was buried at the “Imamzadeh Abdullah” cemetery located in Pol-e Badamak, Saeedabad.
