Tehran; Death of Alireza Amjadian During Nationwide Protests

Alireza Amjadian, a 19-year-old young man from Songhor in Kermanshah and a resident of Tehran, is among the victims of the nationwide protests in Malard, Tehran Province, who lost his life due to direct live gunfire.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Alireza Amjadian was targeted by three live bullets fired by suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during nationwide protests in the city of Malard and died due to the severity of his injuries.

His family was forced to pay 250 million tomans to security institutions in order to receive his body.
Despite this, security forces prevented his burial at Behesht-e Ebrahim Cemetery in Malard, and his body was buried under security pressure in a completely controlled environment and without any public ceremony at the cemetery in Songhor.

Before his death, Alireza Amjadian earned his living by selling fruit with a pickup truck and was responsible for supporting himself and his family.
