Mojtaba Beigi Gorgani, a 30-year-old citizen from Kermanshah, is among those killed in the nationwide protests in the city and lost his life during the suppression of protesters.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, January 9, 2026, Mojtaba Beigi Gorgani was directly targeted at close range by pellet gunfire from suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic during nationwide protests in the “Pardis” area of Kermanshah and died after pellets struck his abdomen.
After several days of uncertainty and continuous follow-up, the family of this Kurdish young man identified his body at the forensic medicine center among a large number of victims of the protests.
According to available information, after the identification of the body, security institutions placed the family under severe pressure and conditioned the handover of the body on signing a written commitment to hold a limited ceremony without public announcement.
The body of Mojtaba Beigi Gorgani was buried on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Berimond Cemetery in Kermanshah. He was born on June 28, 1995.
During the nationwide protests, the families of those killed, in addition to mourning their loved ones, have faced security pressure, threats, and restrictions on holding burial ceremonies and public communication.
