Oshnavieh; Release of Two Citizens After 84 Days of Detention

Arman Darvishi and“Milad Shadikhaah were released temporarily after 84 days of detention upon posting heavy bail.

According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Arman Darvishi, son of Amir, 20 years old, and Milad Shadikhaah, known as “Milad Qareh,” son of Ali, 22 years old, both from the village of “Singan” in Oshnavieh County, were released temporarily after 84 days in detention, each upon posting bail of 3 billion tomans.

These two citizens had previously been arrested on Thursday, March 5, 2026, by Intelligence Office forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant at their place of residence and were transferred to an undisclosed location for interrogation.

According to received information, news of the arrest of these two citizens had not previously been made public, and the publication of this report constitutes the first public disclosure regarding the course of their detention.
This information has been released simultaneously with their temporary release.

At the time of compiling this report, no information has been made available regarding the reasons for their arrest or any possible charges against them. Reports also indicate that throughout their detention they were held in undisclosed locations and solitary confinement cells and were denied access to a lawyer, as well as contact and visits with their families.
