Zaker Rahimi, the driver of a Peugeot 405, and Younes Takavar, the driver of a Nissan pickup truck, two Baloch citizens, including a Sukhtbar, lost their lives following a collision between the two vehicles and the subsequent fire on the Rameshk–Qaleh Ganj road.

According to Kolbarnews, citing Balochestan sources, on 1 July 2026, two Baloch citizens were killed in a traffic accident on the Rameshk–Qaleh Ganj road after a Peugeot 405 collided with a Nissan pickup truck.
According to the report, the victims were identified as Zaker Rahimi, the driver of the Peugeot 405 and a resident of the village of Demilk in Kahnooj County, and Younes Takavar, the driver of the Nissan pickup truck and a resident of Rameshk.
According to information published by local sources, the collision occurred in the Rigabad area, causing both vehicles to catch fire.
According to these sources, the impact of the collision was so severe that both drivers became trapped inside their vehicles before they were able to escape and died in the flames.
Sukhtbari is considered one of the unconventional and dangerous jobs that many Baloch people in Balochistan have been forced to turn to due to the lack of suitable and stable employment. Accidents, vehicle overturns, and direct gunfire from military and security forces are among the dangers that threaten the lives of these Sukhtbars.According to the 2025 annual report of the Baluchistan Human Rights Documentation Network, at least 262 Sukhtbars were killed or injured. Of these, 173 Sukhtbars lost their lives due to gunfire by military forces, road accidents during pursuits by security forces, or explosions caused by mines planted by the IRGC, while 89 others were injured. Four child Sukhtbars were among those killed.
