Saqqez: Judicial cases opened against three teachers’ union activists

Taher Ghaderzadeh, Ahmad Ghaderi, and Suleiman Abdi, teachers’ union activists in Saqqez, are facing judicial cases opened at the city’s Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office.

According to Kolbarnews, citing the Coordinating Council of Iranian Teachers’ Trade Associations, three teachers’ union activists in Kurdistan have been confronted with judicial cases.
Taher Ghaderzadeh, Ahmad Ghaderi, and Suleiman Abdi have, in recent weeks, had cases opened against them at the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office of Saqqez County.

These three teachers’ union activists were previously summoned and interrogated by the Saqqez Intelligence Department. Subsequently, following a complaint by the prosecutor, a case was opened against them at Branch Two of the Investigative Office of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office of Saqqez on the charge of “disrupting public order and tranquility.”

According to the report, the judicial process regarding the charges against these individuals is currently at the investigation stage.
The defendants are awaiting the final decision of the judicial authority, including the possible issuance of a dismissal order or the referral of the case to court through the issuance of an indictment.

Soleiman Abdi, Taher Ghaderzadeh, and Ahmad Ghaderi, three teachers’ union activists in Saqqez have previously also faced arrests and judicial actions due to their activities.
