Danial Darabkhani, a citizen from Kermanshah and a former political prisoner, has been arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to Kolbarnews, about two weeks ago, Danial Darabkhani, originally from Kermanshah and residing in Lahijan, was detained by security forces and taken to an unknown location.
The report adds that after his arrest, Darabkhani was first transferred to a security detention center in Lahijan for interrogation and was later moved to the city’s prison.
Following the December 2017 protests, Danial Darabkhani was arrested on March 9, 2018, by agents of the Kermanshah Intelligence Department. After 28 days of interrogation, he was transferred to Kermanshah Central Prison (Dizelabad).
A few months later, he was sentenced by Branch 1 of the Kermanshah Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Shahrukh Moradi, to one year of imprisonment on the charge of “acting against national security.”
As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for his recent arrest or the charges brought against him.
